Eric Phillips is a Ph.D. candidate in history at the University of Chicago, where he has served as a lecturer in the History of European Civilization and research assistant for some of the most respected scholars in the world. A recipient of a Fulbright fellowship, he has traveled throughout Europe, conducting research in four languages. After receiving a degree in history and economics from George Washington University in 2008, he began his career as a math and English teacher while earning a master's degree in history from Temple University. He has since helped hundreds of students significantly improve their scores on all sections of the SAT and ACT in addition to the AP tests in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and U.S., European, and World history. An economic historian, he has a wide academic background in both qualitative and quantitative subjects.
Eric currently resides in the Philadelphia area with his wife, two kids, and dog.
